Interesting Movie Quotes

Well, we all know the story and the famous quote, “Houston, We have a Problem” stood out among the other facts the movie has become to be known. First of all, that tag line was voted to be #50 of the Greatest Movie Quotes in 100 years By the American Film Institute and has also influenced pop culture referring to something planned to be good which turns out to become a nightmare. It’s hailed as one of the most technically accurate Space movie of all time with regards to the Apollo Space Program with many of the dramatics in he movie added to create a lively storyline. The dialogues of the astronauts and ground control were based on actual transcripts obtained from the Space Program Archives (the quote wasn’t in there making it truly a product of the film). Some argued that there were many inconsistencies in the film, like the falling of Mrs. Lovell’s wedding ring falling into the sink drain which critics say was just to add drama. This was counteracted by both Mr. and Mrs. Lovell and stated that it did indeed happen which is found in the DVD version interview and was also mentioned in he book by Jim Lovell, “Lost Moon”.
