They may take our Lives, but never our freedom

The quote comes from the speech supposedly spoken by Scottish “Brave Heart” Sir William Wallace during their epic battle with the English occupation forces who were set to conquer their land in the “War of Scottish Independence”. This movie is quite a long one but does give light to some of the darkest ages of human history when conquest was still the name of the game. In the film directed by Mel Gibson who himself plays the part of Sir William, it is considered to be one of the best spic battles in history that decided the fate of the Scots. The film has many followers and many years after the release of the film, it still inspires others to strive for freedom using the quote as their battle cry.
